This Privacy Policy applies to the hotter mobile application (hereinafter referred to as the “App”), created by [Your Name or Company Name] (hereinafter referred to as “we”, “us”, or “our”) as a Freemium app. This service is provided at no cost for the basic version and includes an optional in-app purchase for a PRO version. This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use our App.
We respect your privacy. The hotter App is designed to operate locally on your device. We do not collect, store, sell, or share any of your personal data or usage data. All data entered into the App remains strictly on your device unless you explicitly choose to back it up or share it via built-in integrations.
The App requests access to read and/or write data to Google Health Connect to provide its core features. In particular, the App reads heart rate data from Health Connect in order to display a heart rate chart for your workouts.
No Data Transmission by the App: We do not collect, read, or transmit your health data to our own servers or to any third parties. All processing of health data occurs locally on your device. The only exception is the optional Google backup described below, which is initiated by you and not by us.
Local Storage and Optional Google Backup: Health data received from Health Connect is stored locally on your device in the App’s database. If you choose to enable Google backup on your device, the App’s data, including this health data, may be uploaded to your Google Account as part of the standard Android backup. This happens only at your choice, and you can turn it off at any time in your device’s backup settings. Backups are created and stored by Google, and we do not have access to them. Google’s handling of backed-up data is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy.
Limited Use Disclosure: The use of information received from Health Connect will strictly adhere to the Health Connect Permissions policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We only use this data to display it to you within the App or to save your App’s data into Health Connect. We do not sell this data and do not use it for advertising.
The App offers an optional feature to back up your data to your personal Google Drive (via the Google Drive App Data folder).
If you enable this feature, the App will request permission to access your Google Drive.
This backup process occurs directly between your device and Google’s servers.
We do not have access to your Google account, your Google Drive, or the backup files stored there. The backups are completely private to you and are used solely for the purpose of restoring your data within the App.
The App offers a PRO version that can be unlocked via an in-app purchase. All payment processing is securely handled by Google Play Billing.
We do not collect, process, or have access to your financial information, credit card details, or Google account payment details.
Any transaction information is subject to the privacy policy and terms of Google Play.
No Ads: The App does not contain any third-party advertisements or ad-tracking frameworks.
No Analytics: We do not integrate third-party analytics SDKs (such as Google Analytics or Crashlytics) that silently collect usage or crash data.
Our App does not address anyone under the age of 13. Since we do not collect any personal data, we do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page.
